Madisonville Community College Library fulfills its mission by providing the following resources and services:

  • Access to a physical library location (the Loman C. Trover Library on the North Campus), which houses a comprehensive collection of circulating materials.
  • Circulation of library materials to students, college employees, and community members who live in the college’s service area.
  • Interlibrary loan services to students and college employees.
  • Placing specific items on reserve.
  • Access to electronic library resources that are available off campus by students and college employees through their KCTCS login credentials.
  • Development of a comprehensive library collection through employee and student participation to meet the curricular needs of the college.
  • Library subject guides (LibGuides) that provide access to electronic library resources for specific programs or courses of study.
  • Reference services to answer specific research questions.
  • Detailed instruction on how to use the library and its resources to students and college employees on a regular and timely basis.
