The Common Reader Program consists of faculty in different courses across different disciplines using a common book to provide an enrichment experience for students and to facilitate active learning and critical thinking activities. The program unites students and faculty members in a year-long discussion about a single book across many different academic contexts. The Common Reader Committee selects a new book each year.
